What We Do

Opening the Doors to Recovery

Manie Daniels Center

The Manie Daniels Center (MDC) is a residential treatment facility operated by Love Soluble, dedicated to reducing recidivism and supporting pre-sentenced, justice-involved men living with substance use disorders.

As a client-centered program, the duration of the program is determined by legal obligations, individual recovery progress, and readiness for independent living. Program participation typically ranges from three months to one year, ensuring that each client receives support tailored to their specific needs.

Residential Services

Lasting change is fostered in a safe and nurturing rural home, where a stable and supportive environment allows residents to focus fully on recovery.

Men begin their journey in our residential program and continue individual growth by applying the skills and strategies learned, helping to reduce the risk of relapse and supporting in breaking cycles of recidivism.

Certified Addiction Counselling & Registered Psychotherapy

Through personalized counselling plans, men receive professional support from Registered Psychotherapists and certified addiction counsellors, helping to explore the root causes of addiction, develop healthy coping strategies and work toward sustainable recovery.

Therapeutic Horticulture

Therapeutic Horticulture is an evidence-informed, strengths-based approach that uses parallel reference-based lectures coupled with structured gardening activities to support emotional regulation, personal responsibility, and long-term recovery. Participants engage in purposeful, skill-building work that mirrors the recovery process, establishing healthy foundations.

Integration Into Society

Our program goes beyond recovery by helping clients reintegrate into society with practical support for daily life. Assistance is provided in obtaining or reinstating identification, including but not limited to, government-issued IDs and driver’s licenses. Guidance is offered in setting up bank accounts, accessing social assistance programs, and securing stable housing. Connections are made to essential healthcare services, including doctors, dentists, and other medical professionals. By addressing these foundational needs, clients are empowered to regain independence, build stability, and confidently navigate life beyond the program.

Volunteerism

Giving back is an important part of recovery. Men in our program have the chance to get involved with local services and community organizations, sharing their skills and effort to make a positive difference.

Through volunteering, men not only contribute to the community but also build a sense of purpose, responsibility, and connection. These experiences reinforce the lessons learned in recovery, strengthen social bonds, and empower men to create meaningful, lasting impact both for themselves and community around them.

Employment & Education: Pathway to Success

We support men in recovery as he prepares for the next steps forward. Through personalized guidance, we help each man set clear goals for finishing school, learning new skills and/or exploring career opportunities.

Men have access to local resources, training programs and practical support to develop practical skills and pursue opportunities in trades and other fields. Our team works closely with each man to create a path toward employment, personal growth, and long-term independence.

By focusing on education and skill development, we empower men to build confidence, gain expertise, and take active steps toward a stable, fulfilling life beyond recovery.

Post-Graduate Care

Our program connects with a wide variety of community partners, on a case-by-case basis, who help and assist with ongoing care post treatment. We provide continued addiction counselling to support relapse prevention and reduce recidivism, while also offering ongoing assistance with legal matters, including with client consent, updates to legal representation and courts regarding the progress of clients who have completed the program. Love Soluble bears unbiased feedback to the courts as to the success each client has achieved in their program. Our mission is to guide every individual towards reform, correction and lasting freedom.
